The Mentors are a group of experienced music industry professionals supported by Arts Council England to offer free music industry mentoring to artists working in the folk, roots and acoustic music scene in England.
The Covid-19 pandemic has created huge challenges for music artists. The Mentors are here to help you meet those challenges and find ways to thrive through these difficult times for music and the people who work in the music industry.
The Mentors have years of experience in the music business in artist management, programming, production, agency, recording, music releases, and more, with a particular focus on the folk, roots and acoustic sector, as well as insights into new industry solutions being found for artists in a Covid-19 world. As an artist you can access their listening ear and support, as well as their knowledge and advice. They will work with you to create tailored solutions to the particular career roadblocks you are personally facing right now.

Thanks to the support of Arts Council England, access to The Mentors is free. Selected artists will be offered between two and six one-to-one mentoring sessions on Zoom, for one hour per session, with all selected artists gaining access to two different mentors. Mentoring will take place between November 2020 and March 2021. Places are limited. To apply please complete the short form here.
Applications are open until 14th November with successful applicants being contacted by 20th November.
